I think if that was me, (the guy that is)
I would have a little "chat" with the new owner, and "convince" him that it might be a "good idea" to sell the car back to me for $1.00.
He didn't even cheat on her...The guy sounds like a Howard Stern to me. If you marry Howard Stern and expect him to just switch over to playing classical music and interviewing opera singers then you are...whats the politically correct term....A DUMB ***!
Still...pretty funny though

Well I can honestly say I dont actually listen to howard stern enough to know the limits of his antics.
I also didnt actually hear this specific broadcast (or the other one mentioned in the article) to be able to say what the levity of the comment was.
However, I think it comes down to someone (the wife) taking things too seriously. I bet it was pretty obvious that the guy was joking for the sake of his audience, and I am sure no one was pointing at the wife and whispering behind her back. In fact, I bet no one even remembered about it the next day (except her).
Unless she had previously sat her husband down and had a long chat with him advising him of her views and the concequences of doing it again (which we cant know), then I say she over-reacted.
You may be right though. It may have been done in a very disrespectful way. I dont know. But I have seen a lot of things on tv/radio over the years, and this doesnt seem to be any different.

With the info given it I agree w/Charr33. She overreacted.
Everything on TV/Radio is all BS to entertain an certain type of audience.
If things like this were a problem, it's something that should have been discussed before they got married.
Seem likes the wife is either really jelous of Jodie Marsh and lacks in the self cofidence department or there is a low degree of trust in the relationship.
Just my 2cents according to the info.

I think this actually shows confidence. She has enough confidence to say "I'm not putting up with this ****" and walk away. She's not lacking so much confidence that she'll cling to him and put up with everything for fear of being alone.

LOL, I work with Dean Blundel (toronto morning DJ)'s wife, and I can't for the life of me understand why she stays with him!
I have yet to really discuss why she stays with that idiot, but there are two ways to look at it:
She understands that the show is just that, a show, and his personality at home is different than the character he portrays on the radio. Then, by all means, stay with the guy.
He really is like the charactor he portrays, and she is just as dumb as he is.
I'm sure it is difficult for "personalities" to draw the line between character and real life. Where does Hulk Hogan the wrestler end, and hulk hogan the father and family man begin?

Regardless of what the car sold for the value of the car is what matters during the divorce settlement. She'll have to deduct the 25,000 pounds from any money she gets from him.
The settlement is based on the value of the ....estate.... even though it's in her name.
Same goes with maxing out credit cards. It comes back to haunt you during the settlement.
And again the same thing with big pension plans.
She only screwed herself out of 25,000 pounds!!!

For all we know, she didn't screw herself out of anything. We don't know British divorce law.

You really think that things are that much different over there?
And when the divorce settles, she won't get the 12,500 from the value of the car and she'll owe 12,500 towards the settlement. How's my math wrong?

Who says they didn't get married before he put together this act on air?
So if a woman doesn't put up with her husband disrespecting their relationship, she's all of a sudden "lacking confidence"? What a stereotypical male response

She should spent her time filing for divource, rather then filing (if you will) for an ad on ebay!
