hamilton rx7 experts?:)

i got it to start, but it ran like crap. sound like a bridgeported rx7. let it warm up and then did a compression test. pretty sure the apex seals are seized. im losing compression pulses on the rear rotor.
i started it back up and reved back and forth from 2000rpm to 6000rpm and let the engine idle. the car started sounding much better. no more bridgeported rx7 idle. sounded like the seals freed up.
tried to drive down the block and and floored it to 4000-5000rpm and bam, car started running like a bridgeported motor again. drove it back home. did the compression test, same results as before.
i'm pulling engine this week and just going to rebuild the engine before there is catastrophic damage. it's got 100,000 km on it.
