seems like summer is already here
i saw a 911 ... and a supra at york today
so i am planning to bring my fd out .. next month
when you guys are planning to bring out your rotaries?

 

Probably the first week or two of April. Have to have new perches welded onto new struts and swap the coilovers/dampers/camber plates over, install new front brake rotors and wheel bearings. Also have to install an MSD and coils, wheel studs and have some tires mounted on the new rims and get those on. Then an alignment/corner balancing. Then dyno time. Then it might be ready for daily driver duty.

 

March still might have a few unexpected snow. Hopefully by April or late May.

 

been out all winter lol.. top was down today though!!

 

There were more than a few "exotics" out and about during the weekend.
But my area is still covered with salt. It's going to take a few days of constant rain to clear the majority of the roads.
I think the 1st week if not 2nd week of April the car should be out and about.

Always affraid of that one snowstorm around Easter....As Neo put it, mostly just waiting to see the roads clear up of the left over salt and sand, than I'll do from there as far as weather.

 

Had mine out yesterday, took a drive to a local speed shop to pick up some Redline and then to a local car wash. Then back in the garage till it gets really nice but their saying it will be 12˚ and sunny by Thursday.

 

Most 911's get driven all year long. I can't tell you how many I see driving around forest hill with roof racks and female drivers in the middle of winter. It's ridiculous, I love it.

And i agree with 2fierce with the porsches. most people around here drive them year round, they're excellent grocery getters

 

Had my Jag out this morning, roof open and everything. I am in full Spring Fever mode!!!!!!!!!

I think I will go over and start the RX7 and the Cougar again.

Just checked the weather. Later today and all tomorrow London is supposed to get rain, then Thursday will be warmish and cloudy, then more rain Friday, and more clouds on the weekend and Monday. Hopefully the back lot will be clear so I can get to work.

I couldn't resist I put insurance back on it yesterday and took it for a drive... it was nice .Gotta love the smells lol . I missed the little kids yelling out "cool car", lol i dont get that in the neon hahahaha I feel like such a *** driving that thing

lol... thats my daily driver too! i know exactly how you feel.
I have the 5 speed sport (whatever thats supposed to mean) so it keeps me somewhat entertained.

mines a newer style, automatic, power windows up front crank windows in the rear ( I have no idea what chrysler was thinking when they came up with that idea)

 

My buddy from school and his brother built a pair of neon green.. neons.. the time attack one was out at CSCS this year and the Drag one is waiting for spring to finish the wiring harness.. they are the coolest neons I've seen.

The best thing about this car is that they tow it with another neon using a bar that hooks up to those two connectors you can see at the bottom air dam thing so awesome
