Use the truck stuff, its easier to get a power steering High pressure line made.
4.8 coil packs should be the same, ya you need the f-body pan for to clear the subframe
I know the L33's go for about $6-800 from a wreckers, I think you'll still come out on top, Im still looking for that cheap shell to do this with, Im 100% going to run the NV3500 trans, i'm not planning on running anything behind the dash anyways or even a radio lol

Banned. I got OWNED!!!
If you run into any roadblocks, I've put an LS1/FC together and don't mind answering questions. I also have the software that once you source a PCM, I can remove the security and change anything you'd like.
If you haven't checked it out already, norotors.com is an awesome reference and Ronin is a good source for engine mounting (sponsor on this site)

Lol, hillbillies.
I read on Granny's site that the truck accessories don't fit in the rx7. Again, I guess anything is really possible. I'd also like to do more reading about the nv3500. I heard the gearing wouldn't be choice for a light car (useless first gear)...but that wouldn't bug me so much if I could get my head wrapped around modifying this shifter.
Thanks Andy. I could use all the help I can get.

haha. Yeah, it's been a while.
So, I decided to do things right the first time...which means its going to take longer and more money. I've funneled a bit of my budget into my s14 to make it a little quicker and cooler. That will allow me to stay in the drift scene this year while I continue to work on the rx7. However, tax return is looking good this year so I may get it done this summer yet.
Looking for a T56 that's local and not a ton of money (also investigating the cost of my friend in Cali finding one there where they're cheaper and shipping it to me).
I'm about to start the L33 teardown to see whats wrong with the stuck first lifter.
I've made brackets to hold the s13 dashboard in...other than that, not too much progress currently. Too busy house hunting these past few weeks.

still rocking the 302 in there?
T bird and sn95 intakes will fit under a stock, trimmed TII hood, with a 5mm gap between the steering rack and the double sump oil pan.
Proof is in the pictures.....of which i have none at the moment.

Please take some pictures. I have an FC Vert that eventually could see a 302, LSx or Ford 2.3 lol, inspiration is always good.

just read the thread, i have a spare tail section for a t-5 - it's a mustang mount, so the shifter sits at the rear of the tail housing rather than at the front of the tail housing like on an s-10. It will bring your shifter closer to your stock placement.
Pictures on the way in a few days, after everything is back together and can illustrate the clearances
