Hey guys, thanks for the concern. I haven't been on the forum much since the accident. Thanks to Jason for the PM heads up.

So it's been over a year now, I'm glad to say I have fully recovered and can engage in any physical activity that I normally would before the accident. What happened with insurance was I was offered a settlement and I was allowed to either take the money or take the car, I couldn't have both. So I took the money. They also covered my income (most of it anyway) while I was away from work, paid for my physiotherapy and any medical supplies I required to aid in my recovery. I went back to work full-time after the new year and things have been normal ever since.

A few months later, I got a last minute call from the police department asking me to attend the trial of the guy who hit me. They didn't send me any documents or summons, just a quick last min phone call from an officer, like, "Could you come to court tomorrow?". I didn't go. Yeah I was really f*cking pissed-off that my car got totalled, but hey, I survived it and my life is back to normal now. I was given a second chance, I figure he should be given one too. I told the office that I wouldn't be able to attend because of work and the short notice. He said something along the lines of, "That's okay, the other guy who got hit is coming, and I'll be there, so we should be okay"...

I'm driving an 06 G35 Coupe now. I don't know if I'll get another RX-7 anytime soon, but if I had the space I would be interested in getting a project car in the future.

Hey man, glad you are totally recovered and back to normal life...... I moved recently, so won't be seeing your G35 Coupe on Elgin Mills anymore. (I am around HW7 / Warden now, so if u see any black FD on Hw7, maybe it's me....)

Take care bro, and keep in touch!!
