FD wont turn over. callin ottawa

here's the story,
i just got back from university to find that the fd no longer starts up.
everytime i went home i would start it up and run it for about 10 minutes.
the last time i started the car was in early march.
when i got back last sunday, i found the battery dead and couldnt do anything. so i charged the battery and everything seemed good. then i went to start it and its cranking and firing but i think its not getting enough fuel maybe and it wont turn over.
my best guess is that the primary injectors are blocked up or the fuel filter is clogged.
it seems so close to turning over but just wont. there is also a bit of white smoke coming from the exhaust.
should i post an mp3 or vid of me trying to start it?
im in dire need of assistance.

unfortunately i may not be able to attend the ottawa meet if this problem prevails.

If you want to know if it's flooded, go take a sniff at the tailpipe after trying to crank it. You'll smell all kinds of gas if she's flooded...

An even better way is to take out one of the plugs after turning it over. Chances are that they'll be soaked.

Take all 4 out, do the unflooding proceedure, wipe the plugs dry and it should start.

Keep us tuned in!

Please disconnect the coil(s) when cranking the engine w/the plugs out.

Most likely not a bad injector/filter. Like everyone, I'd say it's flooded.

the first thing i did was tried cranking it 5x for 15 seconds....i repeated this a few times while having the fuel cut.
still no start.
so then i tried getting to the spark plugs. this was not easy for a beginner.
then i took out all the spark plugs one by one and found each of them to be quite wet.
it was extremely tight because of the power steering pump.
eventually i got it fired up. i had soo much white smoke it was rediculous it filled my entire garage (with the garage door open) to the point where i could barely see both parked cars.
i ran to get a camera but all i had could find at my moms house was a disposable camera. most of the smoke blew away but i was still able to take some good pics (i think).

i will post another thread about what happened next.
it will go something like this; "caught driving without insurance"
