East Coast Tuning Session with "thewird" (June 8 & 9 2013)
Excellent. That's what I thought, but wanted to confirm it with the source, as it were.
So, I presume you have all you need if a few of the local RX8s want to get in on it as well? (I know a few that do slalom/time attack locally, but just have your standing Intake/Exhaust type bolt ons.)
I'll pass the word. Wish the option had been around before I got my AP, but, it's in and working now, so I'll probably just leave well enough alone.

Tuning prices for RX-8's will be $300, FC's will be $350 for low boost and $400 for higher boost applications.
Damn!.. I just read this now!! I might have my car ready. But it'll be a new rebuild and I Don't think I can make this one!
Do you plan on making anymore trips to the east coast?

We can spend some time breaking it in. It doesn't take long, especially if you reused bearings. Realistically it doesn't take long to put on the mileage either. I've broken in engines in one day before :P

Ok guys, 4 weeks to go. We need to book a flight for Marco, I did a quick search and we are looking at around $500 for the flight. So lets get a confirmed number of tunes and figure out what we are looking at per person. I`ll pay for the flight but would like to reimbursed shortly after. If we get more people after the fact I will refund accordingly.

The dyno is reserved for the Friday, the dyno is located at Raven Autosports in Halifax. All tuning will not be done on the dyno as Marco wants to do some streetability tuning as well.

I just looked at that, my mistake. It is booked for the Saturday June 8th with the shop. Sunday may not be required, the shop said he is available to stay late on Saturday if needed.
Slideways.FD, sounds good, hope to see you there. You would make 5, I just spoke to the shop owner and he may have found us a 6th.

Flight for Marco is now booked. I will contact who are coming to split up costs accordingly. As far as a schedule for the tuning, it will be as follows:
1. HalifaxFD
2. Gibby860
3. racerzedge77
4. Driver_WT
There's no way to give a specific time for each person as each setup may present its own challenges. We will be starting at 9am Saturday morning.

My friend mark has a Fd. I told him about this tuning session. He is in!
As for me. Well I'm unsure now. I had a deer jump on the highway and take out my daily 09 Mazda 3. So I'm awaiting to see what happens now. Kinda pinching for time. But I'm still really hoping to make it as well!
