Based on the polling results, here is the current plan;

2hr session at SMP on Friday evening in May/Jun/Jul = $75 per person if and only if we get 20+ cars

in May/Jun/Jul/Aug

I understand that some of the members want a full track.

I am working with 'Sigma Time Attack' to see if there is enough interest generate to get a group discount on one of their full track days.

Please stay tune.

With full track day in mind, the cost for the event will be increased.

 

Update: I've just received communication from 'SRTA'. If we could get 20 cars to one of their 4 full day TMP events; we could get a group pricing of $200 per car ($280 regular price) IFF we manage to get 20 rotaries.

Note; SRTA provides live leading board time and is support by Mazda Canada with cash prizes awarded to best lap time in its class.

SRTA is a very organized track event. If there is any concerns about not getting enough track time no worries. Tons of track time.

This would be the way to go as I doubt you would get enough rotaries for a rotary track only event. Hope to see some cars out there. When the date gets announced hope I can make it down. Life is getting in the way of me completing my 10th AE...

Note that the SRTA track events are at the TMP track.

Thank you to 5 individuals that has reply promptly in providing me with a number for payment for the proposed 2hr SMP track day in August.

Unfortunately, we do NOT have enough commitment to continue any further planning efforts. I'm happy to continue planning for a rotary specific event if I have the numbers, but I would need payment & commitment from at least 20 cars.
