CALGARY need exhaust shop for 3" overaxle 1st gen
as the title states
i need to find an exhaust shop that can do a decent job of makin a 3inch exhaust fit in a 1st gen. i keep gettin the same it cant be done, its too tight, i dunno answers. cant is bullshit from what ive read, tight is merely inconvenient, and **** i dunno. anyone know of a good shop in calgary that can make a 3 inch pipe go over a 1st gen axle? at a reasonable price would be nice too

Any reason you don't want to go under the rear end? I have a ford 8.8" in my first gen and going under the rear end with full extension (vehicle on a hoist) the diff still does not contact the exhaust. In the picture you can see that the exhaust could also be alot higher and closer to the rear end, but I still need to get shorter stroke shocks in the rear. It was welded up at forcefed performance in BC, expensive, but stainless steel and very good work on short notice!

Overaxle can be done but will be more difficult, and it would be even more difficult with the rear end I have.

There was a 3" Mandral bent on the white car. A good exhaust too.
I think it was $600 with both stainless mufflers (which I purchased myself prior to going to the muffler shop). I've done two over axle 3" exhaust and havent had any problems from any shops.

yeah still rockin the exhaust from the white car but the cans are cooked so its wicked loud an the bends close but not wide enough on the inside. its also too far toward the front an has been pretty much riding on the axle since day 1. already gotten 2 tickets for bein loud, not lookin for a 3rd .
as far as going under the axle it looks to me like you have a lot more space under yours then mine. u runnin bigger then stock tires on the ride in the picture? my concern isnt having the axle hit the exhaust on the way down so much as havin the exhaust hit the ground when the axle moves up, and really either way its gonna be just as tight goin under as over from what i can see on my car.
however at the end of the day im not really picky, i just need something so i can drive without worryin about asshat cops who cant catch a cold let alone a criminal stoppin me cuz something passed by loud enough to actually wake them up an make em notice.

+1 I just went to calgary muffler today and got a muffler put in my ford sierra for a fair price. They were as honest as can be. And Im happy I can hear myself think now (and also hear all the other sounds the car makes that needs to be fixed haha).
Ditto for Calgary Muffler, went there to get my roadrace exhaust welded up. Walked in, was told to drive it in right away, went for lunch and it was done when I got back and cheap too!
