This was my first time shooting stuff in action so I had some major issues with focus and timing in some of them. Also my first time using my telephoto lens which is a learning experience in itself.
I figured some decent pictures are better than no pictures - so enjoy!
I'll be posting them as I take them of my camera so it may be over a few days.

I didn't spend enough time on the circuit side, which is why I couldn't get a lot of the cars. A few friends brought up their civics for drag tuning so I spent most of my day over there unfortunately. There's always next time, and hopefully I'll recognize more of you guys out there so I can work on getting you some good shots!

I saw that Yellow Type-R and the Orange EG Civic on the 401 on Sunday night. I figured they were coming from the track.

Also, it's amazing how much sexier that lowered, stock bodied MB FD looks compared to the overdone Veilside. It's like turning Charlize Theron into Lady Gaga.

I don't think I've been a member long enough to understand why it's our mortal enemy. Is it because Stewart is no longer on our side? I've only met him once at his shop but it's quite clear he's a stand-up guy for sure.

 

^ It's because we race against that car, and it's blue sister car in the CASC GT Challenge and GT Sprints. At the 1-hr enduro at Shannonville, they finished 1-2, we finished 3rd!

why does the blue civic have a wheelie bar? it's front tire's look like the drive wheels for sure....no rwd convert from the looks of it...
