from 2nd hand camaro drag racing experience, gforce doesn't know how to build a transmission. I'd never buy from them.

Liberty transmission (www.libertysgears.com) does - but they're slow. Long turnaround times.

I broke 3rd in my skyline trans once - and damaged it a 2nd time.
All transmissions suck, import ones especially.

I would love to go the T56 route in my car but I doubt anyone is up to the task of making it mate with my transfercase and clutch.

Well I opened up the transmission and there are a ton of pieces inside. 3rd gear was completely stripped as I had assumed. Also there was a chip on first gear but that might be related to all the pieces.

And another interesting thing that broke. Both my motor mount bolts have snapped lol. Might be related to the tranny breaking but hard to say. mmm, torque.

Thats exactly how my tranny sounded after the breaks hehe.

Well, good news, new tranny was just perfect again. All gears work and shift smooth, 5th gear syncro isn't broken either... yet... Gave it a few power pulls slowly to "break it in to my car", then took a 20 PSi pull like a champ in all gears
