blinker issues
My right turn signal works fine but the left doesn't, it makes the fast ticking noise to tell me that a bulb is burnt out but none of the signal lights come on, not even the one in the gauge cluster in the dash and there are no lights burnt out?????. When i put the hazards on the right side is the only one that works there aswell. Any thoughts???
Thanx

The bulbs are all new and the drivers side front turn signal(the one just above the fog light) was replaced the old one was broken and full of water so i bought a new one. The running lights all come on fine just no blinker.

Sounds like the circuit board is gone. I had the same thing happen to me last year. I bought a rebuilt circuit board from Icemark. $40 USD fast shipping and I've had no trouble since.

Rebuilt Products, CPU/ Body Computers & Power Steering computers,
Rebuilt Mazda/Imasen 67-5640-FB01 body computer circuit board. Turn signals.
Controls Turn signals, and Hazard lights only.
Instead of replacing the whole CPU, replace just the defective circuit board. For all FC Series RX-7 (86-92 only) and MX-3 All models.
Of course, you could always goto your local junk yard and look around there first for any MX-3s or FCs and get it from there, but I wouldn't count on getting a good circuit board from a car that has been sitting outside with no windows or doors for who knows how long. You know what I mean. Or if u're really lucky some one might have one left over from a part out, but now I'm just stating the obvious.
Anyway, if you need any help locating the circuit board in your car and removing it, just let me know. I'll walk you through it step by step and might even be able to throw in some pictures.

If you look under the dash on the drivers side, there is a kick pannel on the left. The module should be under or beside the fuse box. There are 2 or 3 plugs in it, just pull them out and unscrew the nut at the top and the whole thing should come right out.
Once you've got the module out, u'll ned a small flat screw driver to gently open the top (top being the end with the plugs). Once the lid is off, the circuit boards will just slide right out. The one you need is the smaller of the 2.
