Probably too late, but they certainly do. Dress warm and waterproof otherwise you will be miserable for the rest of the day (especially with the winds).

Around here (Vancouver area) they run autox in the snow too, it makes for interesting competition. We're lucky down here in that the weather's mild enough to run autox all year round, as there's not usually any snow, and when it does snow it doesn't usually stick around for more than a day or two.

Are you kidding? Of course they do, probably more than other places, it's just less frequent. People in the lower mainland (greater Vancouver area) don't know how to drive in the snow, they don't usually have appropriate tires, and they try to go just as fast as normal. It typically snows a fair bit at a time and it's always really wet snow. The saving grace is that it doesn't snow very often (maybe 1-5 times a year) and if it stays around for more than a couple days then that's unusual.

I grew up and learned to drive in the interior where we get a fair amount of snow, lots of thawing and freezing for lots of ice, and it's hilly, so I know how to drive in winter conditions (drove the FC one winter too).

There's only one series that runs in the winter (the UBC Sports Car Club Slush Cup) and it's only 7 races, but still, that's better than nothing.

The walk was actually better then expected. The rain stopped just before we began, and 10K was nothing. We ended up rasing either just under or just over $4000.
