I realize I have no time and need to get some work done with my 84 RX7 GSL SE.

No engine work, just some basic stuff. Install bolt on exhaust system. Replace rear wheel bearings and new shocks.

I realize the exhaust system is straight forward, but looking at the manual the rear bearings look complicated. Ideally I'd like to take it to a shop that has worked with the 7 before.

Anyone used and can recommend a mechanic in the Ottawa area?

No shop really specializes with RX7s in ottawa.

But for what you need, any mechanic can do it, wheel bearings are straight forward like any other car, and exhaust work the same.

Give Dan ( dan's muffler ) in metcalf a call ( 15 minutes from southkeys ).

Best exhaust guy in ottawa , and cheapest also. He can probably do the bearing also.

 

i just got bearings and studs changed all around in my car at initial tuning....they know what they're doing and theyre fair too
