That would have been me. I've been to meets before with my 944 Turbo - mainly because my T2 wasn't running. I sold the T2 and bought a 93 R1 in Utah and brought it up. I just got the FD certified that day and drove it to work. I saw your car at the last meet in the park but I didn't remember the hood so I wasn't sure if it was you. That must be new right? Looks like the scoot hood. I was considering front end/hood replacement but don't think I would want to live with hood pins and I'm growing fond of the stock FD nose.

Did a little open wastegate effect your hearing? or is it the old age finally catching up? ... 'cides.. if you are complaining about the noise of the open wastegate, I don't really see what the problem is.. .you only had to hear it up close for about 2 seconds before you were hearing it from about 10 car lengths behind

Sounds like a coolant seal let go, or is going. Lots of people have reported perfect compression, but have coolant seal issues. If it's coolant it should be clear from the smell though.

nope, thankfully wasnt a coolant seal....

one of the 720cc injectors that was installed hung open and flooded the car, and basically was intermediate....

pissy injector = raw fuel ( white smoke ).... ( thankfully )....

Hey, I saw you last night (atleast I think it was you), were you at the McDonalds in the Douglas Glen area with a CRX and Integra? If so awesome car, would have stopped if I was in my FC, but was in my old mans SUV (live in Douglas Glen Grove if you know the area).

I saw a red FD with a lady driving it at Mcdonalds in Shawnessy..

Also saw a white convertable FC going on 22x by Black Diamond. Then saw another clean White FC in Kanaskis Village.

Ah, well when I drove by the guys were just getting ready to leave, CRX on the right, FC in the middle and Integra on the right. I never got a good look at the rims though.

Also on Friday I met a guy in a FB, name was Shawn if I remember. Cool guy just wanted to say hey.

Yup, you remember correctly. I'm Shaun. It was good to meet you! Very random though. When I saw you in my rear view I thought, "I must go meet that guy." =p

Heh, thanks! It's the name of my rally team. If you're out on the backroads of chochrane on weekends, you'll eventually see us fly by.

Saw a white, stock looking FD that appeared to be in good shape but needed a wash, Friday morning, 7:50 on 32nd Ave NE, turned south on 12 St. Also: white fc, nice paint, lowered with dark bronze or black 16 or 17" rims - in the staff parking at Star Choice - in which case you must be a co-worker .
