Hi everyone. New here to the forum. I don't own an RX-7 yet but currently looking for an FD model. Prefer silver FD. It's always been my dream car.

I saw a nice silver FD with Texas plates this summer parked in the James Short parkade for a while. Then later on in the fall it had Alberta plates. Looks stock from the outside. Anyone here?

I'm not familiar with this car at all. Maybe it's new to Calgary. Did it have Alberta plates?

It's not exactly the right time of year to be taking a road trip in an FD...

Yo,

Just wanted to introduce myself. I've been lurking for a while, but just haven't posted. My company recently acquired an FD as our next project and show car so I figured I'd stop lurking and start posting. There's a lot of good info around here, and I'm very thankful for that since we only have very basic experience with rotarys.

Hope to get out and meet all of you some time.

Cheers!

The 1994 silver over red FD is mine. I moved to Calgary from Houston last year and brought the car with me. It is not stock but I suppose it looks it. The mods are Apexi PFC, intercooler, intake, downpipe, upgraded training arms and toelinks. Unfortunately, its in storage for another month or two.

I'm pretty sure I've seen your car, salamander, but I don't think we've met. You'll have to come out to a meet in the spring.

Saw a 10AE in the Best Buy parking lot at Deerfoot Meadows around 2:00PM today. I also saw a white S5 convertible in really good condition in the same parking lot a week or two ago.

I just saw a white fb GS, with chick driving it. (Barlow Tr.) Front left fender was bruised beside the headlight but otherwise looked to be in good shape.

I think the lady driving it must've thought me nuts to follow her a distance checking out her car.

I was driving my white fb so it was quite a sight with twin cars booting down the road.

Saw a charcoal FB driving on Eastbound Memorial, between Edmonton trail and Deerfoot. It was about a week ago; Wednesday I think. Anyways, the fact that a female was driving made it worth ressurecting the thread I think.

With an FB in 2 of the 3 lanes there wasn't much fresh air for all the people behind us.

Haven't seen any other FD's actually driving yet while in mine. Who else actually drives theirs and lives in the south of the city?

I haven't driven mine much this season, but today is the day for me. I'll be down around Acadia then head back towards downtown for a bit. I have errands to run, it's a nice, sunny day, and I don't need a vehicle with a whole lot of space. If the weather holds, I think I'll make a trip to Bragg Creek.

I saw two FDs in the vicinity of Bragg Creek yesterday. One was a black Touring with no rear spoiler. It was parked in the strip mall in town, but I couldn't get close to it, as the alarm had one of those proximity sensors.

I met the other FD (a red one) as I was headed back to Calgary. I waved, but I don't think the driver saw me.

That's me too. I live out on Heritage Lake, which is in Dewinton. And I think I'm the only guy that drives a red FD in Calgary right now. I could be wrong I think there is one other one - not sure how much it's driven though.

Sorry I didn't wave back would've loved to seen your ride
