some time back i was playign with 2 rastifarians in a red FD. it was on glenmore between 37st and hwy 8. (mine was the white FC)

 

red s4 turning onto 14th street about 7:15ish; and a blue s4 rx7 going down crowchild about 9:30ish - I was in the silver gx

I always see a red 1st gen 2D coming out of hawkwood in the nw.. its in ok shape compared to mine

 

I saw a Red 89 FC at Bubblemania on 16th ave sunday night.

 

I have seen a silver FD in the Best Buy parking lot at Deerfoot Meadows 3 times now in the past couple of weeks.

Hope this wasn't someone on the board here - spotted a silver FD about 10:30am today, eastbound on Riverbend Gate - heavy accident damage to the drivers side, door folded so bad it was open more than a foot at the back and tied to the body with a rope. Definitely wouldn't pass a safety inspection...

 

That would melt my eyes if I ever seen that.

Ya, made me sad to see that, I really like FD's - and that it was apparently being used as a driver in that state (missing glass even). Probably tells me it's one that the owner could barely afford to buy or was bought by mom and dad, and now that he's gone and slid it into a light pole or dumpster or some such, he can't afford to fix it, or to buy a $500 Firefly or something to knock around in until he can repair it.

 

You said silver? I wonder if that is what became of James' FD. Hahaha, kidding.

 

Jame's FD was bought, tracked w/out tuning, and popped. I don't know what it's doing now, probably rebuilt.

 

Yes, when last I talked to him about a month ago, FDneal was looking to source an engine or housings and rotors - didn't want to do 3mm seals (which it had). So no, I'm pretty sure that wasn't it.

 

FWIW, the motor popped because of a the quality of the rebuild. It had nothing to do with the tune. The car is in good hands and overall is in better shape than when i picked it up.

 

Yesterday I saw a red FD at Memory Express around noon-ish.

I walked out of Woody's Taphouse on Southland today and thought "that looks like my car. but not the (front) bumper. that's an FB." It was dark out but it looked like it was maybe a light blue but it could have been a grey / silver. There was a Fedora 5 CD in the back. I'm not the only Linux using RX-7 owner.

Both times my SA was parked nearby.

 

The Grey FB with the shitty linux distro was mine. I thought I saw a grey SA there too, didn't want to go gawk.

I don't live far from there, and stop in for a beer every once in a while. I'll look for that car next time I'm there, then get them to make a public anoucement or something.

Black with no rear spoiler? Nice black rims? I saw it too on the 15th. Must work around there. I also saw it parked at the strip mall in Bragg Creeks about 6 weeks ago.

I'm not often at that pub. (First time ever actually.) I was playing soccer with a friend who lives near there and we stopped for food afterwards. It would be funny to ask them to announce something like that.

About a week later I walked passed a black FB looked like a nice new paint job, I believe it was close to shaganapi trail and varsity drive?? Then, one of the best days of my lives, i seen one of each gen including an 8. Was a green FD ripping passed Brentwood trainstation going south, nice work with traffic btw after the train during a walk i seen a bronze FB, and then in the SAIT parking lot i seen a black GXL FC near the residence.

 

I spotted a stunning 10AE (i think) or white TII sitting at the intersection of 4th or 5th street and 9th ave SW on my way to work. Really clean.

And there is a nice and stock, black, touring model FD up by my house in the cougar ridge/coach hill area. Younger guy driving it, I've seen him a handful of times in the area over the summer, but only once was I in my FD, but i don't think he saw me.

We've been lucky with the weather compared to last summer, alot more time to get your cars out.
