*****Ottawa Meet 2005*****
mm ok ... Now we have to find a place for the bbq .... My place would be excellent BUT ... my mom's BF would never, EEVVEERR consider letting me invite that many people lol ( I even have a pool and everything
) ... I'll try to make it in the 7 this year ... got a HHUUGGEE list of things to do ... HUGE I say lol ... But yeah We'll see what I can do ... NE ways, count me in for at least being at the meet/bbq, but forget the cruise... My 7 will never be in "sunday cruise" shape loll
Take care !

back onto the topic of walkie talkies for the cruise......
i have a couple old ones which i use to use when i was a kid, im not sure how well they still work.
im gonna be buying a cb radio within the month and i was just wondering if the lower 14 channels of the cb will be the same as FRS.

you mean so that you can have this sexiness:

anyways, about the FRS, you can read up here:
http://www.ocarc.ca/frs.htm
it basically says that any radio capable of picking up the signals can tune in...it also gives a list of what channels are on what frequency.

OTTAWA MEET 2005
WHEN: **MAY 21-22 Long Weekend**
MAY 21st: The meet starts with a show and shine in the Corel Center parking lot on May 21st at 2pm. This is a good time to show off your car and snap some pictures. Afterwards, everyone is invited to my place for the usual BBQ and drinks.
MAY 22nd: Everyone is invited to the Cumberland/Masson ferry at 9am for a huge cruise in Quebec through some of the nicest roads you'll ever see. We'll be doing a similar route to last year, so it's not for the faint of heart (or weak stomachs)... this is THE highlight of the weekend.
As usual, directions to all the spots will be provided at the Corel Centre.
If anyone needs specific info, please PM me or email rxcetera@hotmail.com
Feel free to post this thread in other Mazda forums .
