I don't believe there's a FC beneath that cover.
It's cleverly molded sheetrock dust and beer cans, a ruse to distract us from the fact that you sold the Mazda to get that bike.
Charlatan.

I Promise it is still the same low millage beast it was before.
To answer your question N. I paid $5k back in 08 for mine. Paid $6500 this time. Add in family love, you can make a number happen.
EDIT: Wait, what? under 500 miles on an 09? wtf, why? Story time.

But your garage is coming along. I am going to be wiring up my 6 t5 fixtures next week. Then blow insulation up top. Should be a fun break lol. Then it's study time for these dang law school finals!
When it's done you should stop by.

Yep. Nothing new to report. New job has me working insane overtime, and no time to do anything with the car. I have had it out maybe 5 times this year, and brought it to 1 car show last weekend.
I only logged in to get the phone number for ravenworks to get my jettas fuel injectors rebuilt/cleaned.

Honestly..... Nothing new to report. Sadly the damn car just sits most of the time. I was working on the road for a couple years and it came out of the garage maybe twice a year. Just did some minor maintenance to it recently to get it going again. Runs like a CHAMP!!!. Collector plates are installed on it, along with collector insurance to keep cost down. Picked up a new motorcycle and ... because I am a sadist and enjoy pain.... picked up a 2015 subaru STI. Soooooo... I now own 2 "garbage engines" lol. I love both platforms soo much though.

Got the itch to start tinkering again and freshen up some of the things I left during restoration.
No idea why that video uploaded as a short. Times have changed on youtube apparently, which messes with my ability to embed. Maybe I just forgot how *shrugs*
I did some more digging on those banjo bolts, and DID get them off the car. Seems to me to just be a single O-ring on the top side of the bolts.... and that's it. Mazda no longer stocks anything for it, so I guess I will take a trip down to the parts store and size up some replacement O-rings and see what happens. Really surprised there is no crush washers involved in this situation. Besides that, some new front tie rod ends are going on and will be bringing it to my favorite alignment shop to give it a nice enthusiast setup all around.
probably won't see much in the ways of updates for awhile, just doing cleanup, piddly stuff. Once I get some rubber for those Volk Gtc's that I am currently using as a TV stand, I'll post something up.
