Bose speaker replacement wiring help

With my 3rd gen, i replaced my head unit and got the speaker wires to match up and all seams to work fine. My question is... how do/can I replace my door speakers and individial amp with just a single 4" speaker? or bigger with some mounting work? I saw it done before were only 2 of the 4 wires leading to the door amp being used. Even if thats not the correct way, how should I do it? I will be running a blaupunkt head unit, alpine 600watt amp, 2 10" alpine subs, and undecided on speakers (most likely component setup in the front doors and undecided size behind the seats in the cubbies)...with room to grow.

One of those wires is speaker +
Another is speaker -
The 3rd is amp power
and the last is amp ground.

Of course you can use the stock wiring for the aftermarket speaker, but if you are going that route, you are better off upgrading to better speaker wire to go from the headunit to the spealers.

What you may want to consider is using the rear amp power on wire for the bose as the turn on switch for your 600watt amp. You don't have to, but it's convenient since the wire is allready back there.

NP

Look at the wiring diagram
It's all there including the color of the wires.
