I just finished the swap in April and didn't last long at 400WHP.
My goal is 600RWHP at 10PSI.
Here's the car as it stands right now:
Here's the turbo kit that I just bought for it:
And the turbo...
The plans are to eventually go with forged pistons/rods but with a good tune I should be fine at 10PSI.
I'd also like to run E85 when I upgrade to something like an A1000 and all AN lines.

I have no hate against the Rotary at all, I just couldn't afford to build one to 600RWHP.
And yes... it's a big boy. I should hit full boost at 3,300RPM and pull all the way to redline (7,200RPM).
Here's a similar setup (he's not revving as high as I will be, and has 125,000 miles on a stock bottom end):

Thats one seriously impressive car all around. I love everything you've done to it. I hope your turbo LS stays as reliable as your current setup and that it lasts at least as long as a turbo rotary. Remember, meth!
Very tasteful.

Neither did I :P It went to a good home Jager
So, I got rid of the LS1 in favor of an LQ4... and bolted up my turbo stuff...
The engine is going to the machine shop as soon as I have some time (they close at 5 which is when I get done with work) for a full rebuild and some forged goodies.
I picked up an LS6 intake manifold with fuel rails, injectors, and a ported throttle body locally for $200. I think that was quite the score
Anyway, I spend some time today cleaning it up and painting some stuff. I painted the throttle body and fuel rails.
Also, the Ronin 8.8" kit has sat out in the humid air for so long it had started to rust. I media blasted it and gave it all a few coats of Zero Rust.

Heh me neither. I've been losing sleep over it. I was at a family gathering with my girlfriend last night and my mom asked how my car was... I told her that I tore it down again. My GF (who I hang out with every day) goes, "What!? I didn't know that... what are you doing with it?" Me: "You know how it was terrifying for you before?" Her: "Umm yeah, I hate that car because scares me." Me: "Well, it's getting another 400 horsepower... and it will be an automatic so you can drive it..." Her: "I will never drive that car!"
I will hopefully be down in the cities pretty often. A car like this is no fun in Duluth with our 250WHP WRXs and such :P
