I rarely if ever post anything and much rather act as a silent member but i figured id share my budget-minded build granted, I am a tuner at a race shop as well as tech.
SORRY low res pics/size, and being short on my info but ask away if anyone has questions
i got this original 87 TurboII back in Aug 2013 it had been sitting since 1995 when the owner thought they had blown the turbo i knew had to be engine related(failed apex seal)
after getting the car to the shop i pulled the engine as expected the rear rotor and housing was trashed
i Built a engine for the time being to run the car but i wanted more
prepping for power fc

i always liked the vmount arrangement plus would love to do track days one day

Yeah I can get some Pictures of the brackets And yes I am running a non-turbo Hood now I had the factory Turbo 2 Hood it's a steel one I swapped out for an aluminum non-turbo Hood
Since the time of the original post I swapped out to a GTX 35 And Hooked up the electronic boost controller setup from the power FC I now have a Ground control switch for the boost solenoid
here is a current Dyno graph of low and high boost
Nice numbers. Pretty good HP for 13psi. I made 327whp@13psi on my gt35. Looks like your boost solenoid needs some adjusting though.
The power FC boost control solenoid setup it is kind of a Auto Logging Or Closed-loop Style Control for Boost, I think on top of the fact that I don't have the duty cycle set right yet. There is A factor that I'm only using one of the wastegate ports versus both For accurate boost control
