hahaha, but seriously, this dude has been building.. well... EVERYTHING!! I don't even know what he drives anymore. or what he doesn't drive for that matter. I know for sure he's got a beasty 70's celica, and maybe a BMW or two? Either way, I think he'll be back. But for now he's probably busy making different people drool over some build thread on another car enthusiast forum.

Were you rocking 225/50/16 all the way around in the last few pics?

 

I would guess they were 205/55 but don't really know.

In the most recent pics I was rocking my drift spares all around. 205/50/16 front and 205/55/16 rear.

 

Some how I knew I'd be back, can't seem to get away from fcs. They're just too damn rad. Anyways, been itching to get back into another one for the last few months. Finally put myself in the right position financially...and mentally lol, and pulled the trigger. After searching and searching I think I found the perfect candidate. Bone stock 1986 GXL, yes I like 4pot brakes and power windows haha.



Car came with a mean clunk/vibration, turns out drive shaft is ready to explode (Yes that's my daily driver civic project in the background haha)


Need to get rid of this terrible blue interior


Gave it a tune up, got rid of misfiring issue, and its golden!


Honestly have no idea where this build is going, very indecisive.

Well for sure the exterior is getting a respray and I highly doubt it's going to be white. With that said I was thinking something along the lines of black, gunmetal, orrr white. You know neutral selection. But I have a little time to decide, still need to get a few interior pieces squared away. Thanks for the feedback guys!

 

Quick update, nothing crazy.

My buddies came over to "help" with the car lol


And thats when you end up with carved out sound deadening they make you leave.


Got around to cleaning up the rear harness and getting rid of unnecessary accessories. Also chopped at the speaker towers, looks much better.




Color of interior, also painted all the trim pieces black, no more blue.






FedEx also delivered my coilovers, so those got installed as well.
