Figured it was about time I make a thread, always getting a bunch of pms for my car(which is cool) I just forget to respond to some haha. Hopefully this will help people who may have questions. The first couple pics may just be more of a picture thread since I didn't take any pics of the process of building and installing parts. This is just to get you guys caught up to where I am now lol.

Your car is pure sex man. Mine is/was (down for t2 swap now) somewhat similar with crown Vic's. IMO the te37 type wheels are the best you've had. I plan on getting them. Props on hahaving a clean and straight body with nice paint. Mine needs a lot or work. Lol
|
pure secks!
|
not feeling the rear. dont like those mud guards. get a diffuser
|
Car looks great. I can't believe how good the crown vic wheels look.

Mac, you have anymore pics of the car with only the mud guards (no skirts) how much lower do the guards sit than the rest of the car? |

looking good MAC!
|
Your car looked best stock, you ruined it, =P
kidding! Love it. Great job on doing something not many have done before and trying new things. How many soda can shims did you put in the lsd? and how much more lock is there?its not full lock is it? im planing to do that to my TII lsd for more aggressive lock but not solid lock. |
MAC, your car is pure inspiration.
|

Loving the car mac! keep up the good work....i think the shine bumper half would look killer on your car. Also hope to see some drift action on your car soon.
|
What product did you use to paint the skirts and front half bumper?
If you sell the G35 mud guards, I'll buy them off you! |
wow, the vic rims looked the best keep it!
|
Lookin good! Almost makes me wish I hadn't spent all my $ on go-fast shit. But one day....
I'd love to see a detailed writeup on the lsd shims, I've got a 100k unit that could use some freshening up. 85-90ft/lbs eh? Was that after it settled or right after install? From what I've read that is pretty ideal value (settled) for a miata (which is much lighter). Perhaps that last can would have been the ticket |
Love this car, its what i used to fit my 18's on mine. I gotta keep lookin at that half bumper, need more pics, like with Some 18's on it

I went through alot of trial and error to match the color with rattle cans.

Wow, what a champ. Mixing two extreme color spray cans like that? I'm impressed. I assumed you did it with several touch up paint spray cans for your original paint code, but that wouldn't explain color matching 25 year old paint.

What all did it take to make those g35 mud guards work?
