Picked up an s4 n/a motor from Mozuhs here on the forums. I really wanted to get this thing moving. So I picked it up from him on thursday, unloaded it friday, enjoyed my saturday, and then finished getting it into the car today.

Unfortunately, I don't have a cherry picker and neither do any of my friends. I'm not a strong dude either, so this is how it went down haha.

Utilized my patio to set the motor on the subframe.

Hoods don't just fly up, even if they aren't fully latched. What did you do wrong?

From the looks of it he was driving without the front bumper, therefore no latch and it just flew up? Not sure, but that does sound stupid, LOL.

The LOL is on you...the hood latch isn't on the front bumper and should still be in place in that last pic.

I know it's not on the bumper. But since it was all removed, I assume from the looks of it the hood latch was removed as well. I was afraid someone would catch on to that.

Sweet build, man. Been following it for a while now. What skirts are you running in those newer pics? They look killer. And if you ever wanna get rid of that duckbill, just shoot me a PM. I want one for my vert so bad.
