Future s4 N/A build!

Hey guys, I'm hoping to have a future s4 N/a build, I just want to figure out what parts im going to be needing! I used to have a turbo MSP but that is gone now(RIP Betty), and now I want to build a lightweight N/A! I have a friend getting rid of a yellow s4 for cheap! Pretty much I want the best N/A s4 I can build without porting! What I want is s4 or s5 turbo 4 port housings, Im guessing ill have to go with s4 because the s5 might not hook up correctly electronically or otherwise! I also want s5 rotors but it is to my knowledge that I cant do this because the ecu, but I'm hoping I can fix that with a Megasquirt or Haltech, probably Megasquirt because its cheaper and I wont be needing all the additions of the Haltech because it will be N/A! I would also want to run a Rx8 E shaft and parts needed for that! So, I'm pretty sure I will need s4 t2 intake lower and upper manifold+ throttle body+cable, anything else I would need since it would be from the s4 na to the t2 housing? In addition to the build I would need a mix of seals and gaskets! Please any info would help!

What dont you think makes sense? I have read that 4 port n/a's have better torque than 6 port and that it is possible to have a 4 port na! you can use rx8 e shafts in s4's! Not sure if you could use s5 rotors in s4 housings in any way using after market standalone!

Thanks for the info, so something I wrote apparently made sense! If I switch from the s4 na to s4 T2 housings what do I need from a T2 engine to make it work? I would also want to run either a s5 na or s5 T2 intake and TB, would that work and which would be better for the application?

just buy a imported t2 engine and take the turbo off, swap the n/a s5 rotors in and send your ecu to rtec or get a cheep stand alone ecu with the money you get from selling the turbo. but if you are not going to have the engine ported you may as well just t2 swap it

My old MSP was turbo, only could boost a max 9 lbs with the s*$@ rods they use in the 2.0 so my 1/4 mile was in the 14s! I figured I would probably prefer a light weight na this time around to add a little reliability, with that said, I know some people would say 7s arent the most reliable, but they are one of my favorite rear wheel drive cars!

Just curious, if I were to use a Turbo jdm engine in any way, what smog parts would I need to get to pass smog here in CA and are there any smog parts i could leave out that maybe are outdated or unnecessary?
