Saturday's autocross if anyone's interested... I wasn't a fan of the course, it had a lot of tight elements, but it was still fun.
My G meters are flipped for some reason, looks like I'll have to re-calibrate them. but I did hit 1.5G which is cool :-)

Undaunted, I Googled "Australian GymKhanna" and found it is some Equestrian events in Australia.
Also learned Hooning IS a crime in Australia with anti-hooning ads and all like the war against drugs in the US.
So, you can horse around on a horse, but don't horse around in a car.
Well, Hillclimbs ARE fun.

I added rear camber to the back of the car (back up to a stock link on one side and a ronin "stage 1" on the other. It's at about ~1.8-1.9* in the back.
I took a bolt out of my camber plates to get the last little bit out of them that the bolt was blocking... it's up to -3.2* now. I might have to slot my struts to get a bit more up front.
camber plates slider was hitting the bolt head:

no more bolt head:

The car liked the camber... so that's good.
Nice photo of my car a fellow rx7 owner took (on a film camera no less, the actual photo looks much nicer, my scanner needs work...)

Video of yesterday's event. It was pretty quick... the rx7 needs more power. My main competitor showed up with new winter modifications (fresh 335 tires on all 4 corners of his 600 whp STI) and was much faster. I have to catch up to do :P I think it's finally time to start tuning E85.

Control arm things are happening
Started by removing the delrin bushings and cleaning off the undercoat? thats been on the S4 control arms I have since I got them...

angle grinders are the solution to everything:

These are a lot of work to install
control arm fit in my drill press (barely) which was nice:

tapping to M12x1.25

pressed in new front bearings:

where the added caster comes from (and why you cut the arms):

done!

I knew these needed some work, but Jeezzzz that's a lot I hope it'll feel very nice once installed and hopefully help fix some of your turn in as well.

I haven't actually driven it yet since installing the bearings... but it's back on the ground.
