Dave's S5 Turbo
Just a quick prequel to this story. This is my old car. Built from a bare shell up to this.
Unfortunately I had an old lady make an illegal turn in front of me which ended the life of the little orange terror.
On to bigger and better things though. With the insurance money I was able to pick up a pretty mint 91 turbo FC. Here's a couple pics when I first got it.
...and yes. It gets driven 365 days a year. Rain, snow or shine. It's actually pretty unstoppable in the snow with a good set of snow tires.
Anyways, it's gone through a couple transformations including this one:
Until we get to how it sits present day:
It's not 100% done but it's getting a lot closer. Next on the list I've started work on a half cage for it. Still debating whether or not to do a 4 point or a 6 point. Aside from that there's also sideskirts and a lip in the plans so we'll see how those come to fruition over the winter.
Recently my good friend Carl and I started up our own business making custom suspension components and other aftermarket auto parts such as roll cages, exhaust components, intake setups as well as track prepping customers cars. My car is being used to showcase some of the products we build as well as our FC time attack car we're building in our spare time. Check it out on our
page or on our website www.lucky-10.com for updates.
