I picked up a solid old rolling chassis from some nice gentlemen and friends in the Alberta racing scene. It started when I rented an FC off Conroy last year to run a couple of the NASCC races in Edmonton.
This was the first RX7 I had raced on track, and I found it quite good. One thing led to another, and after much deliberation on what class I wanted to compete in and who I would like to compete with, I settled on buying Trent’s old FC as a rolling chassis, and refreshing it a little bit.
I’m sure some of you will recognize it, and maybe even have some stories to tell. Here are some pictures from the original build that we’re sent to me when I purchased the car:

Reason: Misleading title.
So far I’ve just replaced the foam in the fuel and a removed some of the existing duct work to make room for the new bumper, and splitter design. It was a turbo car previously, and had a v-mount setup. Going to rearrange the front end a bit, and make some DIY aero updates.
