I have no problems with that, or with virusus or what ever.

Maby the URL conflicts with your web browser and / or anti virus software.

I have only heard one about this problem and it was a with a combination of firefox and AVAST were it had blocked the image url.

I'll ask my dad to have a look to his site / gallery but im afraid nothing will be found.

-mounted the downpipe
-placed the AVCR solenoid

oh, and dont watch all the dirt and things

btw ROD, it seems that AVAST gives that problem since the last update it had. Nothing wrong with the images

After an awesome week snowboarding i thought it was time to continue with the fc.

I am mainly waiting for parts. Waiting + kevin = fail, so i decided to mount the radiator.

Last week i also got my breather tank delivered. I was expecting a tank with one hole but it came with two. So i needed to change an order to add a plug to close to second hole.

It is a nice tank, you can completely screw it appart to clean or something. And i was thinking to mount it left from the radiator. It should fit precise.

Done some things today.

-made the fuel return hose
-fixed all hoses on their final position.
-ran the AVCR and NRG wideband wires true the firewall.
-Took off the V-belt poulies, sanded, painted, now hanging to dry.

next steps:

1)
-waiting for custom alloy brackets
2)
-fixing and connecting sensors etc as soon as the brackets arive
-fixing and connecting the NRG wideband
-Connecting AVCR
-fixing and connecting of the power FC
-connecting of the stock B- and Groundwires
-finnish the battery cables in the back
-turn on the power and check for electrical problems
3)
-put some pressure on the fuel system and check for leaks
-curse when there is a leak, and then fix it
4)
-putting some neccesary bits back on its place like the throttle body etc
-some small things that need to be done
5)
-crank it

pic 1-3: fuel hoses on their final position
pic 4: AVCR and wideband wires, quiet a lot of it...

Good news!!

Made good progress today. Fixed the wires and turned to power back on. Went perfect, no problems.

Next step was a presure test for the fuel system. This wasnt realy going like i meant to

I wanted to prime it like described in the workshop manual. Fuse in place, ignition on, jumper wire in place... nothing

Due the fact i removed the resistor relay and changed things because of that i became unsure about what i done with wires (i used the connector from the resistor relay and the wires on that are soldered together). So first i put power on the pump just to check for leaks, and there were non. Perfect. Now lets get back to the other part.

Printed some wirering diagrams, original and the one i made my self (who is intrested in this, i've got a image with stock and my wirering next to eachother to compare). I was about to messure if i had any current on the connector when....

I suddenly remembered i disconnected the circuit opening relay as reminder for the alarm i am going to install

Put it back on and everything worked perfect!

Couple of things are already put back on the car, will continue soon. Only problem i found now is that the UIM doesnt with with how the fuel presure gauge is sitting. I need some kind of 90 degree adapter or something to fix that.

I'll keep the english version of this story short.

I've been to england for a remap. When he started to look for power it started to go wrong. After the first full throttle run to aprox 7000 rpm, it wouldnt idle anymore. When it dit at an unstable 1100 rpm it had an unusual vibration in it and he found out that there was no end play in the E-shaft.

It had compression on all chambers, but a compression test told us it was between 5.5 to 6 at F rotor, and a bit les on rear with one chamber under 5.5. It had a rebuild aprox 20.000 km ago but im not able to say anything yet about the cause.

After some telephone calls it now seems to be obliously that the thrustbearing fell of its place when i mounted the ACT flywheel.

So far this update, i was heading for 300hp at the flywheel.

Put a tent in my back yard, car is going in asap, prolly next weekend.

Plans are rust removal, sort of renovation on the bottom, new bushes, bearings etc. Tranny rebuild, lsd, going to order a cusco 5-point cage for preperation and then put it in if i got mony for seats and harness.

And due my engine problem i feel myself forced to rebuild the engine aswell....but that will be a time and financial challenge.
