At the moment, this is how it looks

Todays progress is something i also want to share with you guys.

I am more than happy with 2 donor pieces i was able to cut out of a donor s5. Compared to what i've cut out of my car it is way way better

This evening i spend my time on taking appart the right donor piece and grinding rust area's clean to see how bad that spots are.

Been working on the car again, finaly feels like some decend progress this time and got this week off to work on it.

Welded, grinded and coated some pieces in preperation of tomorrow.

A few small faults i might get problems with, but i'll try to solve that on a different way.

MOOAAR progress!

Had package delivered yesterday from Earl's UK. -06 fuel hose, -03 brake hose and needed couplings etc.

Also ordered 6 solo bleeders. It sounded quiet intresting but i am curious about how well they work

And ofcourse some progress on the car

Floorpanel is now welded and started working on the outer parts now. A donor piece that still needs to come on at the front is now 90% repaired and is put in rust converter for the last 10%. Tomorow end of day or something i will probable be able to weld it in and continue on the front again.

Made a few small pieces that are going in and started to replicate a piece i had cut out in the beginning.

Good progres overhere

Done some work again today.

unfortunately i am having an issue with the filler, it isnt getting hard so i need to check it later on to see if it is dry. If so i can sand it down and put some paint on it. Followed by some internal coating against rust and then i should be done with this one.

To keep being bussy i started on the other side. I am not realy looking forward to it and i am afraid it will also take an awfull long time to finnish.

I cant wait until this **** is done and i can focus on finnishing the whole floor and start putting some things together again.

anyway, here some pics and ofcourse some end result so far.

new update, finaly,

Our webgallery was hacked, so after trying couple of things there was just no other way then the current, and now all the image URL's are messed up. And as i cannot modify my posts on this forum, i can't set it back so u guys can see it.

ok, back to the car. Been cutting the other side. Few pieces are (almost) ready to weld in, but with this kind of complex body it isnt easy to figure out in what steps i need to work.

First a fiew pics from the right side, pics that are no longer visible above.

It looks original to me

So now the recent pics!

Let us know how the camber links work out. I was gonna go custom, but it might be easier to get these or AWR's or MMR's.

Tough choice to make between a fuel sump or swirl pot. I think it will be a swirl pot afterall but havnt found a way yet to get the fuel lines inside .

Already have an eye on a aloy 2ltr swirl pot with 2 exits. So i can put a second pump on it later if needed.
Bosch 044 pump is ready for pick up
Bride seat rails are on the way.

Anyways,

And again i can thank the rx7 owner who let me cut this out of his donor.
