another fc from the neterlands [lots of pics]

hey guys,

I got nothing much to do at the moment, so for people who are intrested i would like to introduce my fc.

Its a 91 turbo, and bought it with a rebuild engine, streetport, 3" corksport exhaust and ported waste gate.

sorry for this many posts at once, i was limited on pictures per post.

I had already done a few things like a OMP corsica steering wheel, defi gauges and clear headlamps. At this moment I am busy upgrading the fuel system.

Decisions were made, purchased parts and already build in an ACT clutch kit and prolite flywheel. I am planning, i mean, i am hoping i will be able to get it remapped near march / april but we will see how it goes.

Below a lot of pics with discription if needed.

clear head lamps

Custom omp corsica steering wheel with NRG short hub and quick release

a rotary key is a must ( i mean, why not if u need a spare key lol )

unfortunately not everything is like i would like it to be. Rust is an example but i will save you guys the pictures of that. Hopefully i will get the opportunity to fix all this soon.

pioneer avic f910bt

The newest defi gauges installed
-defi advance BF oil temp amber
-defi advance BF water temp amber
-defi advance BF turbo pressure amber

Hey waarzo woon je ongeveer? Ik Arnhem.

Back to English ---> Assuming your brake rotors are directionally vaned, you have them on wrong. ;-)

Je schiet beter op dan ik, succes.

Brake rotors are ok, the are suposed to sit that way. I mean, L means left and R means right i guess..

Something i thought was weird is that the ducts in the middle are straight and not tilted like the drilled / slotted pattern.

But who knows how long they will stay on. Old rotors were gone and i refused to buy stock rotors

NICE! You're missing the turbo upgrade..

How do those Headlamps work? I got a cheap pair and they sucked bigtime, just went back to bulbs...

Looking good though.

Thanks for the good comments so far.

cleaned it up with a steel brush and sandpaper and painted it with alu engine paint.

@ nick,

I do miss it indeed. Its out of the budget. Turbo...maby, but then i would get cooling problems. So instead of try to make a turbo fit my budget i try to get furbs radiator instead.

Headlamps are actualy clear head lamps that would fit a mazda 323f if im correct. I needed to make some spacer bushes.

OK, wou dat er een FC-enthusiast in de buurt woonde... :-(

Brake rotors are ok, the are suposed to sit that way. I mean, L means left and R means right i guess..

That explains it, they are not directionally vaned, which makes them unidirectional, doesn't matter whether you mount them left or right. Depending on the way you use/abuse them the will probably start showing cracks after a while. The holes are drilled through the channels and the bridges, probably also some right on the ridge of a bridge.

Nice car and good luck,

Riz.

It is lowered a bit, but things will happen in the future.

and the interior isnt that nice actualy. Mounting things are broken off at some places, carpet isnt tight. It could be better.
