Picked up this 88 Turbo II on saturday. Plan is to build a drift car, i have done 2 seasons of auto x now and i want to start drifting. The guy i bought it from said it had a lot of boost leaks.

How it sat when i picked it up.





Got to work on it today and stripped the entire interior.



I was checking out the motor today and i might have found one of the reasons why it had boost leaks.

2 of the vacuum lines were made out of the tubes from ballpoint pens...

^reminds me of when I first got my TII years ago. I found a marker cap used to block off a vacuum nipple.

Looks like you have to old greddy front mount? Or is it HKS?

 

Im not sure, there are no markings on it what so ever.
