GA 1985 A/C Cut Out Switch / FC Seat Fitment

1. I have located the A/C Cut Out Switch screwed into the top of Drier in front of the Radiator. It is a 2 prong wire connection that is screwed into the top of the Drier. My question is can I simply unscrew the original without loosing any refrigerant (R12), or does the system have to be emptied prior to Switch replacement?

2. Will the buckets from an FC RX7 fit into my FB? If the mounting tracks are different, can they be swapped from my FB Seats to the FC Seats (from a 1987)?

I don't know about the seats but the pressure switch has to have the system drained before removing. R12 is expensive!!!

Thanks for the heads up on the Pressure switch. My Compressor is not cycling the clutch on, so I thought that Switch might be the issue. I know it has Refrigerant in it, and I don't think it is too low in that I was barely able to add a can to it. This vehicle only has 83,640 miles on it, so I just need to figure out what is stopping it from cycling on and cooling. When I first got the car the Fuse was blown, but the A/C light on in the dash would not come on, it does now, but still not cooling/cycling to do that like I know it should.

I don't want to buy those '87 buckets if they absolutely won't bolt into my '85, and not sure if the tracks can be swapped between the FB and FC versions.
