thats funny, i was thinking about getting a bottle of black and switching it from the purple. the 40oz bag should be fine. i'm pretty sure my bag was from a 26oz.. all you have to do is cut the bottom out on the seams and flair it outwards

Well, looks like I found my twin's setup :P

I thought about the exact setup minus the supra-low struts. Too low for my area, haha.

I was/am still a little worried about the durability of the Diamond Racing wheels. I hear they bend semi easily. What are your opinions on them before I actually buy them?

diamond racing wheels are very tough. when you order them say they are for street use so you want the thicker shells. i have hit more than enough bumps and pot holes and have nothing but good things to say. i'm also running 185/45s on the front. my wheels are perfect still. don't be hesitant about ordering. good bang for buck.

ha, it nothing special. mostly stock except an intake runner for the carb. i'll try to find some pictures of the engine bay. my car is in storage for the winter so i won't be able to get any pictures for a while.

See the problem with 15s that are so wide is finding tires for them. I'm running 295s on my rear and the lowest profile I could find was a 50, which is a little big for my taste and won't allow me to lower the rear as much as I'd like to. Considering switching to 16s...hmmm

curious and your wheels width. thats the smallest 15'' tire profile with a 295.

Hey DM, just wondering what lugs your using with the Diamonds. I'm planning to get a set but my McGard lugs aren't the correct taper.

I am running generic ones with a 60 degree cone taper from:

http://www.tunershop.com/Wheel_Spacers/Bolts/

They work pretty well. not the nicest i've seen, but they aren't too expensive. the only lousy thing about tunershop if that its a flat rate shipping price so you have to build a decent sized order to make it worth your while.

Hmm, that's what my lugs are but the Diamond site says 5x114.3 will require a 45 degree taper.

yeah i just checked diamonds site and yeah 5 by 4.5 says 45 degree. i wonder why they do that, must be a loading thing. if you are running 5 by 114.3, did you do the second gen big brake swap? it should be fairly easy to find lug nuts instead of bolts shouldn't it?

i found a picture a friend took after i put the 20mm spacers in. it shows how low the front sits. and now i have to make up a tri link setup so i can correct the rear.
