Stayed out at the shop and made the intake! Took a while to remember how to TIG aluminum...


Put the IAT and BAC tube in the intake's last bend...I guess this is an old picture before the bungs were welded in.

Now it is off to the shop to get the exhaust straight and make a cold-air box for the intake.

good stuff. i like the progress you're making. your fabrication skills are definitely worthy of recognition on their own.

 

Well now I know where my old FB ended up. Crazy thing is, I owned that car from around 2005-2012 and that patchwork must have predated my ownership of the car. Glad to see the driveline is living on though.
