Hi guys I'm doing a s5 13b swap into my 1985 gs the motor I bought has low miles and good compression it is an automatic I'm going to use my 85 5 speed on it and keep the fuel injection I will be updating onces a week till done goal it to have running and drive before July 23 to take to IA at kentucky motor speedway

 

definitely interested in doing this to mine.

 

So today removed the automatic transmission and flex plate and counter weight remove flywheel from 12a broke two breaker bars but got the nuts off

 

You will need to use a S5 13b flywheel. The flywheel must match the rotating assembly of the motor. Don't forget to install a pilot bearing.

 

I would love to do this. Please document all the wiring you do to complete this build. Also, what fuel system are you thinking about putting on? What mods to the fuel tank? Looking forward to seeing your build.
