My love for RX-7's happened when ( Lokirx706 ) bought an FB for his first car. Ever sense that day I wanted one badly, but every time I have more than enough money to buy one... I didn't. After I got my head out of my *** I finally decided it was time..... so I started looking. I spent maybe 5 months trying to find the one that was going to initiate me. After a bitter experience trying to buy an awesome FC Lokirx706 told me that an old user had an FB in rough shape that he would give away for free! So we went and picked it up!!!

After I got the car home I started going over it

After looking at it i noticed that all the interior was spray painted

The hood and finder were in pretty bad shape so i got a hood and finders for $20

 

When I was picking up the car the previous owner said that the original motor was blown and not worth messing with. I checked the motor when home and it turned over by hand very easily and sounded great. About a month lately I was online and found a guy selling an 85 GSL for $350 with no motor, trans or radiator. The next week I went and picked it up!

man, u should have kept it! and where are u finding these deals??? i would have loved to unload those wheels from u. time to find and build another widebody...

lol ya i was trying to come up with a user name and i just figured i got one for free so i'd use it...

i got another red 85 gsl with grey interior in october of this year it is currently my daily driver and i'm going to do the same body kit. i was very lucky to get all the parts for either free or very cheap, but i can't find any deals like that now
