I skinned the dash, hopefully leather will play nicely with the shapes. There is some foam damage so ill have to figure how to smooth that out. I won't be finishing this till the rest of the paint is done since the hide is going to cost 600$

Don't laugh. Since I took my dash out I put a nut on to hold the steering collum and that has reduced a decent bit of play from my steering. I only had one bolt in with the dash but I thought it was tight.

Cherry on top

I just noticed there is a wave above the gas cap hopefully it will buff.

exhaust had a nice bit of premix on it since it wasnt fully welded and with how rich its been running i finished fit up and have it about half welded now. I noticed the floats are messed up again. I think they were tweaked last time I disassembled the carb.

With the heat shield in place and the shape of the exhaust there is no room for the axle. so I cant lower the car any in the rear. I pretty much have to make a new over axle section. But that will wait till winter probably.

The exhaust is hitting the axle on bumps, right now i dont have shocks so hopefully that will help a little. But with the welds and routing I think ill just call this a practice round and completely rerun it later.
