No, I haven't done this conversion.... Mazda did that for me... I've got an 12A Elford Turbo These were stock sold by Mazda UK . An crazy dealer in the UK developed this setup and Mazda approved the setup...
Only 500 of them were sold.
But I've got one
180 HP stock 12A
But I'm currently reparing the engine after an Apex broken...
So I'll be following the discussion

I did this write up so that people would have the oportunity to see the amount of work involved in turbo charging a 12a.
Since this is archived I can not update the thread with new info. So I will take this as an oportunity to "update" the masses.
A new bonnet has been fabricated for the carb and has cured my driveability issues. I have also welded the distributor and set the timing to 15deg leading and 7deg trailing. I am running a Mikuni side draft still with the main jet drilled out to a 285 (2.85mm) I am running only 5psi still until I get to a dyno with a wide band.
