85 rx7 12a need more power
Need help to figure out what carb i can use on my 1985 mazda rx7 its stock right know and i want more power from it . its a 12a so I decided to check out what carb to use and have no clue witch one
FB's aren't about power.
They're about elegance and handling. That Zooom Zooom experience that transcends power.
It's the instant acceleration from 70 to 80 when the Nikki secondaries open up.
If you want power get a boinger.
If you want performance and rotary perfection stay with the Nikki.

The term more power is a bit vague. What are you expecting performance wise? Twenty years ago turbo swapped first gen had a power to weight ratio that would be hard to beat. That time has passed.
if the car is stock, please leave it that way. My project is a rescue so I took liberties that I would not have if I found a car that was whole.

the best first step is the exhaust, the carb isn't really limiting power
all depends how much money u wanna spend.... weber IDA are fun with the rite exhaust... or if your engine has low miles and strong . drawthough turbo setup are great or blow though
