Supercharger?
In a supercharger, there is a belt that connects directly to the engine. It gets its power the same way that the water pump or alternator does. A turbocharger, on the other hand, gets its power from the exhaust stream. The exhaust runs through a turbine, which in turn spins the compressor.
The idea is that the Turbocharger "is more efficient" than a Supercharger because it does not cause any drag on the engine like a Supercharger, which runs its impeller or scrolls by a pulley/belt system rather than a Turbocharger which has two impellers that are on a single shaft so that when the exhaust gases spin one side of the shaft it forces the other to spin and compress air and move it through the intake system.
Here's a good like for how they work and their differences:

....and NA have the best of all worlds, except for the power...lol
honestly, if you aren't sure of the difference between a turbo and a supercharger you aren't ready for one. I've never done one, but from what I hear it is a bit more involved than most people think. Both of them require more than just slapping it on and piping into the intake.
