Where did you get the Weber kit from? I see it looks like you have the cold enrichment and cable hooked to it. How well does that work?

Looks like a great project! Be sure you document how you deal with the rust on the rocker panels (always handy knowledge for a Michigander).

What are your plans for the suspension, any details?

Well we have the re-speed racing coilover kit, with adj shocks. At a local junk yard we found a larger front sway bar. Thinking its a racing beat, still need to measure it to find out for sure. Also have all new poly bushings for the front and back. So everything is going to be fresh.
Still need to get a bigger rear bar but dont know what to get.

Sand blasted all the bars and painting them as i type this. Also the rear end in all taken care of. Everything is getting cleaned and painted
Ill have some pictures up when they finish uploading

What spring rates did you go with?

Generally speaking, if you have a heavy front bar you might want to try it with the stock rear bar first. If you still want more, then Suspension Techniques makes one with three mounting points for the end links (3 position adjustable). That's the type you want to look for, stay away from the kind with sleeve adjustment (racing beat).

I run a 3 position made by SCI Racing, but they don't make it anymore. Looks identical to the ST bar though. I love mine combined with the Respeed front bar. The RB front bar isn't quite as stiff, but you should still be fine (that's what the adjustment is for, right?)

Looking good!

I run 275/150 for autocross and daily driving and the car is very well balanced with the rear bar on the softest setting. I run the mid setting if I want a bit more oversteer, usually for extremely tight courses. Otherwise, I generally run soft on the rear bar.

With that said, since you are running the 175 springs in the rear, I think there's a darned good chance you'll be just right with the stock bar on the rear. I would certainly try it before investing in a stiff rear bar.
