The flutes were in the way in that pic,i looked back at #159 post and enlarged the pic. I believe it to have an H1 bulb so those lights aren't"new", they've been around for a while,no doubt stored well. They look as new.

 

Antenna switches to be repurposed as window switches. Mid project mock up for now.

small update. Ordered 1050x injectors and IGN-1A coils. So far left to go. So so far....

 

Looking great! The wiring is a tough job in that you are creating and routing your own harness. But it will look great when it's done and you will no unnecessary wiring! Good work!

 

I really fought with the idea of doing a wire tuck. Instead I ordered a selection of shrink tubing and a light grey mesh loom of different sizes. If things go well it should have a clean working management.

 

I think the shrink tubing with the grey mesh will look very nice. It will give the wiring a clean and tidy appearance!

 

i find that the stock route is a pretty good middle ground, its unobtrusive.

 

Kinda mid way in the wire management. Very pleased going with the grey loom.

So far the wiring appears to be very clean and minimal. This will make for an excellent look!!

 

I too am a victim of a too thick windshield adhesive. Trim won’t fit. But damn. I just love that blue color with the green band on the glass.

 

It does look great!! Is there a remedy for the excess adhesive?

 

no, there is not a remedy outside of re installation of the windshield,

 

The worst kind of remedy.

 

i need to do this to mine too. i was pissed because i bought the little blocks that the window sits on, and told the glass guy it needs to sit on them, and then it doesn't...

 

it’s shiny now. Parts of it anyways.

 

Bit of work on the back side today. Got the hatch installed with new struts.

I'm curious to see how it blends in with the SA dash/console as the color is closer to the 84-85 console. Great HU though.

 

I think the new stereo looks great!!! Can't wait to see what it looks like installed!
