Those wheels look fantastic and very period correct! Are you installing those blue TII seats I see in the background?

The intent is to re upholster. I got some Ultra Suede samples and plan to do a houndstooth for the inserts. the photo for inspiration.

I'm in such a similar boat! Your build is what I aspire to! I want to strip it and strip it and prime it and paint it and make it all look perty and shiny like yours! wow is all I have to say

180amp DC Power alternator

Delivery took a hair longer than expected as stated on their website. Likely the anodizers being hit hard as well. Really looks at home in there!

Am I really coming up to two months without a post?

I have a few things incoming. Soon I hope.

BNRSupercars has printed a UPS label, So hopefully my S5Hybrid will be here in a few weeks.

I also commissioned a custom shift ****.

Here is an in process picture that I was sent.

That is going to turn out beautiful. I am in the process of searching for a shift **** for my car. Who did you use and what was the pricing like?

Nath Gallager from Oregon is doing the work. I believe he asked for 60 for the ****, I considered that a bit less than he should have been asking so I slipped him an extra $20. His work is amazing. I have seen it in person and he an artist at what he does. The full disclosure is he has an expediting problem that almost is a reliability issue. I sent him payment in April, He finished up last week, Waiting to be mailed. Mind you my request was a bit more custom than a usual unit, I am glad I went with him. but if you expect "fast" you may need to be patient. That said BNR has taken 3 months to even as for payment and my exhaust bits form Racing Beat is still in limbo. So no-one has had "speedy service" lately.

This is the finished product:

Wheel work.

Restoration of my meshies. Stripped and blasted the faces before primer and gloss white paint. I chose paint as if I decide I don’t like the color I can easily strip at a later date. I also had to clean overspray off of eighty pierce bolts from the PO.

You and me both. This is why I did not power coat. White was not the color I was originally looking at. Then I saw pictures of a similar Formula Mesh and it hit me. So I'm trying the white out. I think it make the wheels look more prominent without the absurdity of 17" rims on a SA/FB chassis.

Got the shift **** and brake handle in today, still need to wire it in and I would like to get a new shift boot made. Thanks to Nath Gallager for taking his time to get this done.

Yes I have U2 paint left over. I considered painting the centers blue but I felt it would detract from the awesome paint job I was lucky enough to get.
