Those analog meters are the best! If you take a really hard left turn does the music get louder?

Clamping and glueing 1/8 UHMW

Thin coat of epoxy

The under side and additional support

Sanded and additional epoxy for som touch up spots

Ready for cutting and paint

Digital calipers, a square straight edge and exacto knife to the rescue

Paint is a bit off. I’ll have to reshoot later down the road

Window relays

POWER WINDOW RELAYS! Thanks to the Kevin Wright tutorial, the Wayback Machine and Sgt Fox. I just happen to have space in the Haltech fuse/relay box.

Replaced corroded wiper motor connector with WeatherPack unit

Modifying SA power antenna switch for power windows

Depinning

Repinned. Turns out I only needed to swap the black wire with the blue with red stripe

Besides the stray wires it looking more like something close to functional

Not terribly exciting. But I did get the passenger side buttoned up for wireing.

Roughed in: Audi 200 Turbo Intercooler (80s) and GSLSE Oil Cooler. I had to move the oil cooler forward so the intercooler lower tube will clear. I am thinking of going with a parallel flow condenser. That would allow me to get a smaller condenser as I understand it. The upper IC should be able to use a 60mm 90degree off and route through the shroud. I guess I am going to replace the radiator as well. but its in there for the mock up.

lots of ways to mount all the coolers, you might try flipping the intercooler, upside down was the first thought, but it can go up and down too. and the oil cooler can be horizontal with a duct as well..

anyways, the guy who built pro 7 cars around here would use the 79-82 short radiator and mount the oil cooler under it, then he would just run a sheet of aluminum from between the coolers to the front, and then he had a threaded stud in the opening, so you can adjust the size of the openings until temps work. so simple...

Mazda has found that mounting the oil cooler flat provided superior performance. This is described in the Mazda Factory Competition Preparation Manual. See here: How to install a Front Mount Oil Cooler <PICS> Tech Re - Page 4 - AusRotary

This might help solve your fitment problems!

I just added the picture as documentation. The picture remind me of a still out of Kubrick’s 2001

Little known fact: it's just out of frame but he's trying to remove a rusted flywheel from a 12A.

replaced the o rings in the oil metering pump and this was shipped this as well:

I have mixed emotions if this will be worth the price for the insert. Regardless, the Atkins sleeves are now part of the equation.
