12A rebuild or 13B swap?
Greetings. I have a 12A (90k miles) in a '79 that I'm either going to rebuild or swap out for a 13B.
Is it really worth rebuilding a 12A in terms of long term parts availability and performance? Any experienced input would be appreciated.

I would just swap to a 13b and sell the 12a stuff.
We picked up a street port 12a and temporarily put it in a REPU and my father in law could tell a big difference. He misses the 13b that was in the car.
Here is video of us picking it up and installing it in the truck.
