1980 RX7 upgrade fuse box
Hey guys, has anyone of you had the chance of upgrading a fuse box that is in the engine compartment on a RX7 1980, and also and ignition coils from a second generation RX7. I have a street ported engine, I am restoring the car. If you have any suggestions, are welcome.
Thank you
Thank you

Damn, it did start!
Damn funny you should mention this . I am doing the 2nd gen swap. In fact I terminated the wires today. I have quite a few terminals left over if you choose this route.
New female spade connector 7.3mm if I recall.
Enough to cover the lights, efi, and an e-fan

ancient wizard...
2nd gen fusebox upgrade here also.2nd gen ig coils not compatible wih J105 or J109 igniter. Car will run them for a short time but igniters will be short lived. To employ 2nd gen ig coil(which is a very good coil) on Leading ignition only, you will need to build a direct fire system using GM 4 pin modules. I'm running DFI on my SE and it's a worthwhile modification.
In interest one day of returning car to original, all modifications have no additional holes drilled in car. Fuse box and bracket for ignition coils/heatsinks/modules bolt in nutserts that held original coil bracket in drivers fenderwell.
