Rebuild 12a or Swap rew (on a budget)

Trying to see what ya'll opinions are on rebuilding the 12a or swapping in a rew. On a budget for now so 12a I can do right away (still trying to get 54mm off) or I can save and hopefully by next year I could have swapped (car would have to sit outside, in the unforgiving ohio weather ) Enough about my project, what do ya'll think?

Definitely cheaper to rebuild, and a lot faster.

it wouldn't be wise to say you are on a budget and attempt to put in an engine that requires you to modify the car to fit it.
Do the easy way,get to drive it then think about the "fun" later.

Fair enough. I know its cheaper and easier to rebuild, just was wondering if I shouldn't spend the initial to rebuild or instead; pay more, get more, but take more time.

But it is probably a good idea just to get her back in the game and on the road again. Either way, she'll be a fun car to drive!
