I still have one I'm still on the fence about using it or selling it. It looks nice on a CW. Pretty much any of these cars the more dark exterior parts you add the better they look.
Willing to sell the roof spoiler? Been on the fence about it until seeing it on his build
So we installed the Exedy this weekend. What a pain. Exedy decided they would not include the correct alignment tool without telling us. We tried installing the transmission and clutch 5 times before I decided to measure the included tool against the input shaft on the transmission. The tool they send is obviously made for use with a single disk clutch and not the multi disc ones. After finally figuring that out, and we modified it, we got the trans to go right back in. What a huge waste of time. The clutch pedal is definitely heavier than I was expecting on a multi plate unit so that was also a disappointment.
Also we installed the Amuse R1 exhaust. Bolted up perfectly like every Amuse product does. No drama!
On the clutch alignment tool, most all of them I've come across are too long, the tip is really long. Cutting about a half inch off the tip makes it work way better. I think they just use a generic mold and send it. This isn't an Exedy thing, this is EVERY clutch I've ever come across.
The SMB cat is a great way to go, I've had mine for probably 10 years. No air pump, running it hard, never have had an issue (knock on wood). Flows great and really knocks the stink down.

Wished we'd known that going in. You can only assume they send you the correct tool for the job. Luckily at least I figured it out.
Forgot to take pics of the fronts but I began the install of the Ohlins on Thursday. The sway bars on this car make the install a pain in regards to how they connect to the suspension.
When we were doing the clutch install, we found that even though the car only has 29k miles, it was not immune to random rust issues. Luckily it wasn't going back on.
I know there is a new version of the Ohlins that Sake Bomb Garage is bringing out, but the DVF's are great shocks. You're going to love them. Great choice.
Good progress! I'm caught up and you have been busy. Got any pics of the cat back on the car? I've always loved that exhaust. I really wanted one for the LS3 swapped FD I had. I just thought it might be too loud on a rotary car. Might not be seeing you are running a cat.
